Antennas are important pieces of microwave equipment and WaveLab Engineering has been designing and developing them for over 20 years. In the beginning, the company specialised in large antennas but has recently added small and tiny antennas to its impressive range. These outstanding integrated antennas are the basis of complex control systems. They are used as remote system components and in passive structures, in fact, anywhere that transmits wireless information. However, not all antennas are suitable for certain places and users sometimes have to choose between size and efficiency while maintaining classic RF requirements.
How does WaveLab Engineering create customised microwave equipment?
Our extensive experience combined with state-of-the-art simulation and technology enables us to overcome these challenges. We are able to offer our clients a fully-customised and adaptable antenna that is built to their specifications. Once we are sure that there is a viable solution, we verify the first prototypes using our on-site free-field measuring station or low-echo chamber. All measurements are made available allowing the client to make an informed decision based on efficiency and performance. High-quality microwave equipment is widely used in the communications sector. Once calibrated, our custom PCB dual-integrated antenna can be mass produced and will effectively cover the 900/1800/2100 mobile bands while our stamped bent antenna is ideal for applications below 1000MHz with the necessary housing volume.
